8/7/2023 0 Comments Peria chronicles artistLike many other titles, this one will be published by Nexon. Last but certainly not least of the major trailers from GStar this year is Tree of Savior, showing new gameplay footage. Snail Games also slipped Taichi Panda into the mix, adding a new trailer and hints of a December release. There was also mention of AI-based Squad gameplay. Sudden Attack 2, promised to be the “evolution” of the original Sudden Attack, showcased a new trailer as it launched a new website. It also looks like it has some Pokemon-style elements! Nexon’s also publishing Peria Chronicles, a colorful sandbox MMO that might remind you of Mabinogi. Nexon also presented a new Master X Master (MXM) trailer. MapleStory 2, of course, also presented a new gameplay trailer at GStar. Gameplay will include Arena, Random Draft Challenges, and 1v1 real-time battles with friends in addition to asynchronous PvP. Decks will contain only 12 cards, and players can exchange and trade cards with each other. Nexon started off GStar with the announcement of Mabinogi Duel, a trading card game for mobile. Lost Ark is another ARPG showcased this week, and there’s now a 20 minute trailer that offers a gameplay overview that’s subtitled for English fans. The game promises large scale battles, an interactive environment, and even mouse gesture attacks. NCSoft emerged with new gameplay footage for Lineage Eternal, the next stage in the Lineage series, which departs from the standard MMORPG style and heads into hack’n’slash territory. Ghost in the Shell Online offers a new intense trailer at G-Star, and the action’s clear (and fans of the series will appreciate the censoring in the video). Developed by Naddic, the game is a blend of side-scrolling brawler action with MOBA gameplay.Ĭivilization Online is undergoing beta in Korea, and 2K has presented a new trailer. But lets be real, there must have been very bad management or atleast a very weak software development process been going on. After the beta I for sure thought that it's on the way for release. I can only imagine how disappointed hardcore fans and the developer are. Arpiel Online Developer Interview & Behind the ScenesĪzera Online offered a new gameplay trailer the game offers six gender-locked classes and is similar to TERA or Aion.Ĭlosers Online offered a new trailer and its pre-OBT schedule, running December 11-14. Seems Peria Chronicles has been canceled :c.Arpiel Online Gameplay & Character Reveal.Six main characters have been revealed, which should each have their own unique abilities. This game looks like a cross between the best Naruto games (the stunning console Narutos, not the Ultimate Naruto or Naruto Saga free MMO games) and the Pokmon creature-tossing battles, but the developer added a few of its own ideas to the mix. To help you keep up, we’ve compiled a list of G-Star reveals, so get ready to dream big!Īr:piel Online comes from Nexon and is a gijinka-style school RPG. Previously known as Project NT, Peria Chronicles is ThingSoft's attempt at a beautiful free anime MMORPG with combat from the school of Pokmon. But I would keep an eye on its venture in Sweden, as that seems to be where they're headed going forward, in terms of being customers and fans, that's where we should be looking at.Īs for the current games, I'm not expecting too many drastic changes at this point in time.Korea’s G-Star game show – held in Busan – is underway this week, and as always, there’s a lot of great looking online games from some of Korea’s top gaming companies, including Nexon, NCSoft, and Smilegate. I understand if someone goes around screaming "THE GAME IS GONNA DIE! EVERYONE FREAK OUT-" but if there are signs that the company is struggling, we should have the right to be worried, no?Īt this time, I don't see Nexon struggling, while the cuts made and some declines in older games may be concerning, I think there will be stabilization following the recent changes. What are we supposed to think or feel about this? It feels like to me that things are coming to a head here. With no other major titles prepared for G-Star 2013, Peria Chronicles is set to be the Korean giant’s showpiece other than Dota 2. I know Aquasol would peg me and others in this thread for FUD, but this stuff just keeps piling up. OctoKnown as Project NT for around a year now, Nexon’s upcoming MMORPG is now called Peria Chronicles. How are we are as customers supposed to feel about this? I don't feel very confident about this company. They suspended this project and they are letting other games go and/or shutting them down left and right this year, they are laying off employees, IMPORTANT executives are leaving.
